Trex eCCPM Mod : Preparing The Servo Box

1. Cut this part of the box away (A)
2. Cut the rest of the arm away 10mm from the edge of the box. Do not throw this away.
3. Remove 15mm of the moulding on the bottom of the box leaving the area flat.

4. With a craft knife slice down each side of the servo mounting plate on the outside. Then score along the bottom a few times and the tab should break off.

5. OPTIONAL  Repeat this process with the middle portion of plastic left ( I did this to make the pics clearer but its not necessary)

6. Cut 2 X 11mm lengths ( or 2 x 12mm if you take the middle portion out ) from the leftover arm.

7. Rough up the area in the box and the bottom of the 11mm  ( or 12mm ) lengths with some course sandpaper making sure its free from grease.

8. Draw a line 8mm from the edge of the box in pencil. Holding the 12mm frame portion in place run thin cyno into the joints.

9. Repeat at the other side.

10. Screw the servos into the box ( new mounting holes will have to be drilled )  making sure the top servo is flush with the top of the box and the bottom servo is flush with the bottom of the box. At this stage only two screws ( diagonally ) need to be inserted as the servos will be removed later. The gap left in the middle is for the servo wires.

11. Screw a ball on the inside of the 19mm servo arms on the outer hole.

12.Push the servo arms on but do not insert screws.
