Trex eCCPM Mod : Making The Front Frame Support
This step should not be overlooked as it puts the strength back into the front of the frame.
1. Purchase a sheet of aluminium ( the one I used is 0.9mm thick and was cut from the deflector plate off an old TV aerial ) from your local model shop. In UK its less than £2.00, and its also used to make the anti rotation guide.
2. Cut a strip of 10mm X 35mm. Draw two lines in the middle 19mm apart.

3. Using a vice or pliers bend the aluminium into a U-shape. External measurement must be 19mm.

4. Offer the bracket into the frames, if its too big it will spread the frame apart. If it is too small it will pull the frames in. If you cannot make if fit nice make another.
5. Mark then Drill 2mm holes as pic. ( Tip stick masking tape to the area.)

6. File/sand of any sharp edges and roughen up the top surface ready for gluing. ( the bracket is not attached at this time.)
